"Really helped my sensory kiddo"
I wasn’t totally sure how the visit was going to go, since my kid can get overwhelmed quickly, but the quiet spaces made such a difference. We were actually able to take breaks and enjoy being there together, which surprised me in the best way...

"Nice to See Parents Considered"
I really appreciated that there were comfortable spots for parents to sit. It might seem like a small thing, but it’s only right to think about the adults who are waiting around too. Made the whole experience a lot easier
"Pretty decent spot, if you can overlook a few things"
I actually had a nice time here overall, which was a pleasant surprise considering the bathrooms were messy and some of the exhibits looked like they’ve seen better days. It’s a cool place with potential, but it could definitely use a little fixing up.
"Great day with the kids"
Had such a fun family day here. The kids were busy nonstop. they didn’t want to leave. Lots of things to touch. Try out. Play with. Perfect for them. Staff were really nice too. Planning was easy from the website. We’d definitely go again.

"Fun once you’re there, but getting there was frustrating"
We had a good time once we finally got inside, but the whole process of getting there put a damper on it. Parking was expensive and kind of confusing, and walking from the garage with kids was more of a hassle than I expected. When I mentioned it, it didn’t really feel like anyone cared much, which was a little disappointing. It’s not a bad place at all, I just wish it was easier to get to.

"Cafe is fine for a quick bite"
The cafe was okay, but nothing too exciting. The food choices felt limited and a little expensive for what you get. It works if you just need a quick snack, but I think a lot of customers, especially families, would probably appreciate more options and better value.

"Great hands-on fun for kids"
My kids had such a good time running from one activity to the next. There was plenty for them to touch, try, and explore, they stayed busy way longer than I thought they would. Definitely a fun spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for something hands-on for kids.

"Such a fun birthday spot for kids"
Not gonna lie, this was a great place for a kids' birthday. The kids had an absolute blast and stayed entertained the whole time.

"The kids had a good time, so..."
The kids had a good time, so that was nice. The only thing is, the lines got long after a while, which was kinda frustrating. Overall though, it was okay.

"My kids actually learned while having fun"
My kids really enjoyed this, and I was happy because it wasn’t just one of those things where they’re entertained for a few minutes and then forget about it. They were having fun the whole time, but they were also picking up new things without it feeling like a lesson, if that makes sense. I could tell they were engaged because they kept talking about what they learned afterward and even tried explaining parts of it to me. So overall, it felt like a nice mix of fun and educational, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

"Wheelchair Access That Mostly Saved the Day"
I went with my son, who uses a wheelchair, and it was way smoother than I was bracing myself for. The elevators were working, thank goodness, and the staff jumped in to help when we needed it like tiny heroes in the chaos. Most areas were easy for us to access, which made the whole visit feel a lot less stressful. A few spots got a little tight once the crowds rolled in, but it wasn’t a disaster or anything. Overall, it was a good visit and we were able to enjoy ourselves without a major accessibility battle

"Fun for the kids, but a little pricey"
The kids had a good time, so I can’t complain too much. Compared to other places we’ve been, the crowd wasn’t too bad, which made it easier to get around. That said, for the ticket price, I was expecting a bit more. Overall, it was an okay way to spend the afternoon, just not something I’d rush back to at that price

"Membership is probably worth it if you go enough"
We ended up getting the Port Discovery membership because my kids kept asking to go, and I figured it would make sense after a few visits. I do like being able to just walk in with the member entry and not have to debate buying tickets every single time, though maybe I’m just telling myself that to feel better about buying it.
It’s definitely more worth it if you go regularly. There have been days where it was so crowded that we didn’t last long, and then I kind of wondered if I misjudged how much we’d actually use it. It’s not a bad deal, just not one of those things I’d call amazing unless you’re really going often.

"Pretty good crowd control"
It was kind of busy, maybe even really busy at times, but the lines moved along well. The staff seemed to keep things under control and it never felt too chaotic or anything

"The bathrooms were clean enough and seemed well..."
The bathrooms were clean enough and seemed well taken care of, which I think most customers would appreciate. They were a little cramped, but not a big issue if you’re just in and out.

"Felt Really Safe Bringing My Kids Here"
I felt comfortable having my kids here. The staff seemed really attentive and kept a good eye on them, which made a big difference for me. Did anyone else feel the same way about how closely the staff watched the kids?

"We went to one of the special events..."
We went to one of the special events at Port Discovery and had a really good time. The staff did a nice job keeping everything moving without making it feel rushed, and there was plenty for the kids to do. A few areas got a little crowded, but it wasn’t too overwhelming. I do wish the instructions for where to go and what to expect had been a bit clearer, especially at the start, but once we got settled it was great. My son talked about it the whole ride home, so I’d definitely go again.

"I had a question and they got back..."
I had a question and they got back to me really quickly. Everything was handled without any fuss, which I appreciated. If you’re looking for support that doesn’t keep you waiting, I’d say they’re worth considering.

"Pretty easy with a stroller"
We brought our toddler to Port Discovery and had the stroller with us pretty much the whole time. i was expecting it to be kind of a pain, but getting inside was simple and we didn’t feel like we were blocking everybody or anything.
Most areas had enough space to roll around, even once it started getting a bit busier. Not every single corner was perfect, but overall it was fine, and the elevators made moving between floors way easier.
The staff were helpful when we asked where we could leave the stroller for a little while. It just made the whole visit less stressful, which is a big deal when you’re out with a toddler. We’d go back.
